Who we are

Water Sort is operated by Shenzhen Mizhi Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us”). This policy covers information handled through the game, its advertising, available in-app purchases, and support requests. Our company website privacy policy separately covers use of the website itself.

Information stored on your device

The game stores level progress, first-clear records, coins, experience points, tool credits, unlocked and selected cosmetics, sand artworks, achievements, preferences, and tutorial status locally. These records support gameplay, preserve earned items, and prevent duplicate rewards.

There is no developer account, developer-operated cloud save, or cross-device progress synchronization. We do not upload this game save to a developer server. Apple and your device may handle backups and diagnostics according to your settings. Ending the app process restarts an unfinished puzzle; saved long-term progress and assets remain.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK for banners and optional rewarded ads. Ad requests connect to Google. The SDK may process network and device information, identifiers, ad activity, and diagnostic or performance information. An IP address can provide an approximate location; this is different from accessing precise GPS location. Processing depends on the SDK, configuration, region, and applicable choices. See Google’s privacy policy for its practices.

The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location. We do not access advertising identifiers that require system permission without that permission. Declining tracking does not necessarily stop all technical processing associated with serving ads.

Remove Ads changes which ads are displayed. It does not mean that all processing by Apple, Google, or support services stops. If you choose a rewarded ad, related advertising processing still takes place.

Purchases

In versions with paid features, Apple handles App Store payments. The game does not ask for or store your full payment-card number or Apple Account password. To validate, restore, and update an entitlement, the app may process product and transaction identifiers, purchase dates, and entitlement, refund, or revocation status supplied by Apple. Apple handles its payment and purchase records under its own privacy policy.

Information you send to support

When you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any screenshots, device or app-version details, or order references you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, investigate issues, and handle purchase or privacy requests. Redact unrelated personal information. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or full payment details.

Purposes, recipients, and processing grounds

Subject to applicable law, we process information necessary to provide game functionality, respond to requested support, verify purchases, and meet legal obligations. Processing that requires consent relies on that consent. If we rely on legitimate interests, we assess the purpose of the processing and its impact on your rights.

Google provides advertising services and Apple provides payment services. Our email service providers may handle support correspondence. We may also disclose necessary information in response to valid legal obligations or to address legal claims. Providers processing information on our behalf must use it for agreed purposes and provide the protections required by applicable law and this policy. Buying Remove Ads does not upload your local game save to us.

Retention, deletion, and security

Local records remain on your device until app data is removed or otherwise managed by the system. Deleting the app may remove progress and earned items; offloading can retain app data. Copies in device or cloud backups are managed through the relevant system service. We do not hold a developer cloud-save copy to recover your progress.

We retain support records while resolving the request and for any further period necessary to handle related disputes or applicable legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them when no longer needed. Entitlement data is handled for as long as needed to provide and verify the entitlement. Apple and Google retain records they control under their own policies and applicable law. Deleting local data does not automatically delete third-party records.

We use safeguards appropriate to the risks of the information we handle. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can decline optional rewarded ads; declining does not grant the associated reward. You can manage available tracking permissions under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. This is separate from advertising-consent choices. If your version provides advertising privacy options, use that control for the corresponding choices.

Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent concerning information we hold. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain portability, or complain to a supervisory authority. We may request proportionate information to verify a request, but not your account password. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. We will explain applicable limits, such as legally required retention. We cannot directly erase data held only on your device or independently controlled by another provider.

Children

Parents or guardians with questions about a child’s use of Water Sort or information they believe has been shared through the game can contact us at [email protected]. We review reports and take appropriate steps concerning information we should not retain, including deletion where required. Store content age ratings do not determine the legal age for consenting to personal-information processing. Applicable parental-consent and children’s privacy requirements must also be considered for the user’s location.

International processing and changes

Our company is based in China. Contacting support or using Apple or Google services may involve processing outside your country. Where required, we apply the safeguards for international handling required by applicable law. Consult the relevant provider’s policy for its practices.

We update this page and its effective date when practices change. Material changes will be communicated as required; any newly required consent will be obtained separately. This policy does not itself authorize undisclosed new uses.
